My Version Of Your Preacher Cake; I Tweaked Your Recipe By Using 1 Cup Splenda Blend. Toasted The Walnuts It Took 30 Minutes To Bake. For The Frosting; Used 18 Packets Of Splenda, 1 1/2 Pkgs Room Temp Low Fat Cream Cheese Neufchatel, 2 Teas Vanilla, 1 1/2 Teas Butter And 1-2 Tbsp Half And Half For The Frosting. After I Found Your Recipe It Looked So Good I Had To Make It! It Was So Yummy My Friends And Family Loved It!!!

This Is A Photo Of Susan Swanson's Preacher Cake That I Made For My Lady Friends. I Improvised A Little From The Original Recipe In That I Used Both Pecan And Walnuts Chopped Inside The Cake Batter. This is a photo of SUSAN SWANSON'S Preacher Cake that I made for my lady friends. I improvised a little from the original recipe in that I used both pecan and walnuts chopped inside the cake batter. I also used pecan halves to "decorate" the top as well as put small pineapple bits on the frosting and put coconut on half the frosted cake top. Some people dislike coconut so this was a way for everyone to enjoy it. Susan's recipe is top-notch and I'll definitely make this again! Thank You Susan!
This Cake Is Scrumptious. All I Did Was Add Raisins, And Currants To The Mix. I Did As You Suggested And Decreased The Amount Of Sugar To 1 1/2 Cups. It Is So Moist And Tasty. Delicioso!

@ Bobbie I use the mini loaf pans and used three, but I think I put a bit more batter in them than needed to be as they ended up be very high (although they were lovely for slicing) so I think I could have used four - so three at least if you are using the mini ones...

I made 21 of the cupcakes and come home with only 3 .. So another will be made this weekend ..only this time in a bundt pan ... That is my favorite cake pan btw ! Anyway ~ my friends loved my display on the cupcake holder I used and the paper holder's .
