My version of your Preacher cake; I tweaked your recipe by using 1 cup Splenda Blend. Toasted the walnuts it took 30 minutes to bake. For the frosting; used 18 packets of Splenda, 1 1/2 pkgs room temp low fat cream cheese neufchatel, 2 teas vanilla, 1 1/2 teas butter and 1-2 tbsp half and half for the frosting. After I found your recipe it looked so good I had to make it! It was so yummy my friends and family loved it!!!

The cake was delicious BOTH ways so for me it doesn't matter if you frost it right away (out of the oven) or frost it after the cake has cooled. We like it both ways. Someone on this thread had asked that question awhile back. Maybe they will get this comment in their inbox as it will answer their question. 9/22/12
