You may wonder why you never made this type of cake before. It is chock full of nuts on the inside and out. The applesauce makes it so moist and the toasted pecans makes it very nutty & full of flavor. Add a hot cup of coffee or tea, and you will be set to savor all the flavors that only this cake can bring.
