Great then, I have even used a generic Mountain Dew Brand to make a glaZE. SO I AM SURE THEY WILL WORK WHICH EVER YOU CHOOSE.

Okay, Thanks Miss Rose, Yes I seen One Brand but it came in a Six Pack of Bottles so, I thought I'd find it elsewhere??.. I'll try another Brand if I can't find Schwepps.... ;[

Hey Paula, Schwepps is a Dr Pepper & 7 Up Product, If you can find Seagrams Ginger Ale it is of comparable quality. But probably any brand might work.

i AM SURE YOU WILL GET IT EVENTUALLY. i AM STILL ADDING TO MY COLLECTION. i MUST HAVE AT LEAST 8 NEW ONES, maybe even more THAT I HAVE NEVER USED BEFORE. So I need to start baking. I even have some 3 cup capacity Bundt pans. They make nice small cakes when there are not too many in the family. I usually give them away. They are also great if you want to make a variety of different frostings. I do have some twin size small bundt pans.

It is awesome Paula, and so easy to make. It will become one of your favorites as it has become mine. This was the first time I added nuts to the glaze though, and the fact that the pecans were toasted in butter first, made the flavors much more INTENSE. pLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW IT TURNS OUT WHEN YOU DO MAKE IT.

YES THE GLAZE WILL HARDEN IF YOU DON'T WORK QUICKLY AND POUR IT OVER THE CAKE, THAT IS WHY YOU SEE THE STEAM. It was hot off the stove top. YOU CAN MAKE THE CAKE IN A ROUND BUNDT PAN AS WELL or even divide it equally into 2 loaf pans.
