Here Is My Picture Of Your Swedish Apple Pie. I Used Double The Apples Because My Pie Dish Was Much Bigger. Although I Did Not Use More Of The Topping Mixture. It Still Came Out Wonderful ~!!!

Followed your link to the Cranberry Cream Torte. That looks a lot like this pie! I pinched it and will probably try it sometime. But next week I think I'll be making this Swedish Apple Pie again! The other one is GONE, GONE, GONE. I even took a spoon and 'cleaned' out the pie plate. Oh YUMMY!!! 11/07/13

Thanks Carol...Just now reading this...so, of course, I didn't take a can of whipped cream with me. Excellent without any additional "whipped cream" or anything else for that matter. This pie tastes as good as it looks.
I went over to the dessert table at church and found that the ladies put some of everyone's desserts on plates EXCEPT mine!!! SO I got some plates out and put some out myself.
When the lunch was over, I went over to the dessert table and a lady was piling some of my pie from the pie plate into a bowl and I told her..."that's the pie I brought. It's Swedish Apple Pie" She said, "Oh"...like she knew what it was and KEPT on digging into it. I told her to take as much as she wanted. Since hubs and I live alone and hubs doesn't eat apple pie I decided to share the leftovers. There were only three slim pieces left to take back home with me. I will enjoy them. By tomorrow they will probably be gone! If they last that long! LOL This definitely is a keeper recipe. Next time I will try melting the butter to see what a difference it might make. Thanks for sharing this recipe, Carol! 11/07/13
