Born in PA, Grew up in South Florida. "You can take the girl outta the country...but" etc. I was exposed to alot of Pennsylvania dutch cooking and recipes. I've learned and adapted many Amish dishes and desserts. As a Sous Chef at a Country club for many years, I learned to put a healthier and more glamorous spin on foods. But to me, anyone who can construct a visibly pleasing and delicious meal gets a thumbs up in my book. I tend to lean towards healthier cooking mostly, but the fun decadents are still my favorites!
