Ingredients

2 pkgsmoked turkey sausage, sliced into medium coins
-
1 lbbaby carrots
-
1 smallhead of cabbage, cut to large diced chunkss
-
5-6 mediumyukon gold potatoes
-
1 largeonion, large dice
-
2 Tbspfrozen apple juice concentrate
-
1 cbeef broth
-
1 Tbsphot german mustard
-
1 Tbspcider or red wine vinegar
-
2 tspcaraway seed (optional)
How to Make Slow Cooker Smoked Sausage, carrots and cabbage
- Layer the cabbage,potatoes, onion, carrots and sausage in the 5 to 6-quart slow cooker.
- Whisk together the juice concentrate, mustard, vinegar and caraway seeds. Sprinkle with freshly ground pepper to taste, if desired.
- Pour the beef broth over all.
- Slow cook on low for 8-10 hours.
