My Grandma was a true southern cook, but liked to try new recipes. This was one of hers that goes bace to 1948.

salt pork ( or you can use chopped bacon )
onion diced
3 c
diced boiled potatoes
2 c
boiling water
1 c
corn cooked fresh or canned
4 c
hot milk
1/2 tsp
1/8 tsp
chopped parsley

How to Make Grandma Delleplain Corn Chowder.


  • 1Cut pork into small pieces, add onions and cook until tender.
  • 2Add potatoes, boilong water, corn and hot milk. Season with salt and pepper and heat to boiling, serve with parsley on top.
