My Grandma was a true southern cook, but liked to try new recipes. This was one of hers that goes bace to 1948.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 pound salt pork ( or you can use chopped bacon )
  • 1 - onion diced
  • 3 cups diced boiled potatoes
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup corn cooked fresh or canned
  • 4 cups hot milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • - chopped parsley

How To Make grandma delleplain corn chowder.

  • Step 1
    Cut pork into small pieces, add onions and cook until tender.
  • Step 2
    Add potatoes, boilong water, corn and hot milk. Season with salt and pepper and heat to boiling, serve with parsley on top.
