Ingredients

1 small
onion,chopped
1/4 c
celery, chopped
2 Tbsp
sweet cream butter
2 Tbsp
all purpose flour
1 tsp
chicken bouillon granules
1/2 tsp
dill weed
1/4 tsp
curry powder
1 dash(es)
cayenne pepper
2 c
chicken stock
14 oz
can (scm) sweetened condensed milk
3 c
cooked acorn squash, mashed
s & p
to taste
6 slice
cooked and crumbled bacon for garnish

How to Make $10,000 Acorn Squash Soup

Step-by-Step

  • 1Sauté onion and celery with the butter in a large saucepan. Stir in flour, bouillon, dill, curry and cayenne.
  • 2Gradually add chicken stock and sweetened condensed milk (by Eagle Brand)
    Boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add the squash, salt and pepper.
  • 3Place in blender by batches and blend until smooth.
    Pour into bowl; garnish with bacon.
