1/4 ccelery, chopped
2 Tbspsweet cream butter
2 Tbspall purpose flour
1 tspchicken bouillon granules
1/2 tspdill weed
1/4 tspcurry powder
1 dash(es)cayenne pepper
2 cchicken stock
14 ozcan (scm) sweetened condensed milk
3 ccooked acorn squash, mashed
s & pto taste
6 slicecooked and crumbled bacon for garnish
How to Make $10,000 Acorn Squash Soup
- Sauté onion and celery with the butter in a large saucepan. Stir in flour, bouillon, dill, curry and cayenne.
- Gradually add chicken stock and sweetened condensed milk (by Eagle Brand)
Boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add the squash, salt and pepper.
- Place in blender by batches and blend until smooth.
Pour into bowl; garnish with bacon.
