This low-fat Recipe is easy, economical, heathy and Delicious! Great w/ a spot of cheese on top or just as good without those extra calories.

Ingredients

  • 3 large broccoli florets
  • 1 1/2 pounds cauliflower, small florets
  • 6 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon oregano, dried
  • dashes - red chili powder
  • dashes - black pepper
  • dash - ground ginger powder
  • 1/2 cup turkey or chicken broth
  • tablespoon cheese, shredded (optional)
  • 1/4 cup half and half

How To Make callie's cauliflower & broccoli soup

  • Step 1
    Place water into pot then add sliced broccoli crowns & Cauliflower-ets. Cook on med. heat for 10-15 min.
  • Step 2
    Add chicken or turkey broth and seasonings. Simmer an additional 10 min. Then turn heat off and add half n half.
  • Step 3
    Cheese is optional but if used then shred it. Serve hot or cold as a side or a quik lunch alongside crackers or a sandwich. Delicious, nutritious, and so satisfying.
