Ingredients

  • 3 large
    broccoli florets
  • 1 1/2 lb
    cauliflower, small florets
  • 6 c
    water
  • 1 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    oregano, dried
  • dashes
    red chili powder
  • dashes
    black pepper
  • dash
    ground ginger powder
  • 1/2 c
    turkey or chicken broth
  • Tbsp
    cheese, shredded (optional)
  • 1/4 c
    half and half

How to Make Callie's Cauliflower & Broccoli Soup

Step-by-Step

  1. Place water into pot then add sliced broccoli crowns & Cauliflower-ets. Cook on med. heat for 10-15 min.
  2. Add chicken or turkey broth and seasonings. Simmer an additional 10 min. Then turn heat off and add half n half.
  3. Cheese is optional but if used then shred it. Serve hot or cold as a side or a quik lunch alongside crackers or a sandwich. Delicious, nutritious, and so satisfying.
