Creamy Potato, Cauliflower & Broccoli Soup

This soup uses the base ingredients of Callie's Cauliflower & Broccoli Soup. Adding to it potatoes & additional half n half & spices. Its a great tasting economical and healthy soup to serve as a side or a main dish. Really helps to stretch your groceries. Will keep in refrigerator for 3-4 days.

3 large
broccoli florets
1 1/2 lb
cauliflower, small florets
6 c
2 tsp
cayenne pepper
1 Tbsp
oregano, dried
2 tsp
red chili powder
2 tsp
black pepper
ginger powder
1/2 c
turkey or chicken broth
2 large
potato diced
1 c
half and half
1 tsp
garlic and herb seasoning
1 Tbsp
onion flakes, dehydrated
cheese shredded (optional)


1Place water into pot then add diced potatoes, sliced broccoli crowns & Cauliflower-ets. No stalks, or stems! Cook on med. heat for 10-15 min.
2Add chicken or turkey broth and seasonings. Simmer an additional 10 min. Then turn heat off then blend until smooth adding half n half.
3Enjoy This low-fat Creamy Soup Recipe that's easy, economical, heathy and Delicious! Great w/ a spot of shredded cheese on top or just as good without those extra calories. Best served w/ toasted French Italian bread w/ a tiny pat of butter.
