I love chicken soup different ways. This one is made a little creamy with the cream cheese. You can add more spices to your liking.

Ingredients

  • 32 ounces chicken broth
  • 3 cups water
  • 3 cups cooked, chopped chicken breast
  • 2 cups sliced carrots
  • 1 cup sliced celery
  • 1/2 cup sliced celery
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon garlic pepper seasoning
  • 3 ounces cream cheese, cut into cubes
  • 2 cups noodles, i used no yolk noodles

How To Make slow-cooked creamy chicken noodle soup

  • Step 1
    In a 5-quart slow cooker, combine broth, water, chicken, carrots, celery, mushrooms, onion, thyme and garlic pepper. Stir to combine.
  • Step 2
    Cover, cook on low 6 hrs. Increase heat to high. Stir in cream cheese until well combined. Stir in noodles. Cover and cook 30 mins, or until noodles are tender.
