I love chicken soup different ways. This one is made a little creamy with the cream cheese. You can add more spices to your liking.

Ingredients

chicken broth
3 c
water
3 c
cooked, chopped chicken breast
2 c
sliced carrots
1 c
sliced celery
1/2 c
sliced celery

sliced mushrooms

chopped onion
2 tsp
dried thyme
1 tsp
garlic pepper seasoning

cream cheese, cut into cubes

noodles, i used no yolk noodles

How to Make Slow-cooked creamy chicken noodle soup

Step-by-Step

  • 1In a 5-quart slow cooker, combine broth, water, chicken, carrots, celery, mushrooms, onion, thyme and garlic pepper. Stir to combine.
  • 2Cover, cook on low 6 hrs. Increase heat to high. Stir in cream cheese until well combined. Stir in noodles. Cover and cook 30 mins, or until noodles are tender.
