Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups uncooked wagon wheel pasta
  • 3/4 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 3 cups low-fat spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground oregano
  • 2 cans (14 oz.ea.) beef broth
  • 1 can (15 oz.) kidney beans, undrained

How To Make wagon wheel beef soup for kids

  • Step 1
    In a large pot, cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
  • Step 2
    Coat a Dutch oven with cooking spray; place over medium-high heat until hot. Add meat and onion. Cook over medium heat until meat is browned, stirring to crumble. Drain.
  • Step 3
    Return the meat mixture to the pan; add cooked pasta and remaining ingredients. Cook for 10 more minutes or until thoroughly heated.
