Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground hamburg ( i used 90/10)
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 gallon garlic minced
  • 1 medium cabbage chopped into bite size pieces
  • 1 can (14.5oz) oz vegetable broth
  • 2 cans (14.5oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (8oz) tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

How To Make unstuffed cabbage rolls

  • Step 1
    In a large skillet,(i used a dutch oven) heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef/pork onion and cook, stirring, until meats are no longer pink and onion is tender. Add the garlic and continue cooking for 1 minute
  • Step 2
    Add the chopped cabbage, tomatoes, tomato sauce, pepper, and salt. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes, or until cabbage is tender.
