    ground hamburg ( i used 90/10)
  • 1 lb
    ground pork
  • 1 Tbsp
    oil
  • 1 large
    onion
  • 1 gal
    garlic minced
  • 1 medium
    cabbage chopped into bite size pieces
  • 1 can(s)
    (14.5oz) oz vegetable broth
  • 2 can(s)
    (14.5oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can(s)
    (8oz) tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 tsp
    salt

How to Make UNSTUFFED CABBAGE ROLLS

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large skillet,(i used a dutch oven) heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef/pork onion and cook, stirring, until meats are no longer pink and onion is tender.
    Add the garlic and continue cooking for 1 minute
  2. Add the chopped cabbage, tomatoes, tomato sauce, pepper, and salt. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes, or until cabbage is tender.
