Here is my version.....

chopped onion
1/2 tsp
cayenne pepper
1 tsp
course sea salt - or to taste
1 tsp
black pepper - or to taste
1 tsp
carroway seeds - crushed
1 large
head cauliflower, roughly chopped
4 c
chicken broth _ homemade or store bought
1/2 c
heavy cream
1 1/2 c
cheddar - grated - or more to your taste
1 tsp
smoked paprika

How to Make Fireman Bob's Creamy Cheesy Cauliflower Soup


  • 1In a large Dutch Oven, melt the butter, add onion, salt and saute over low heat until tender about 8 minutes.

    Add cauliflower and continue cooking 6 additional minutes stirring continually.
  • 2Add broth, paprika, cayenne pepper, and cream to pan and bring to boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for 2 hours.
  • 3Remove from heat, puree soup in a blender in batches.

    Return to pan over low heat.
  • 4Whisk in cheese and continue stirring just until melted.
  • 5ENJOY !!!!!
