I was asked to create a cheesy Cauliflower soup for Debbie Loftin... Here is my version.....

Ingredients
- 1 stalk butter
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon course sea salt - or to taste
- 1 teaspoon black pepper - or to taste
- 1 teaspoon carroway seeds - crushed
- 1 large head cauliflower, roughly chopped
- 4 cups chicken broth _ homemade or store bought
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 1/2 cups cheddar - grated - or more to your taste
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
How To Make fireman bob's creamy cheesy cauliflower soup

Step 1In a large Dutch Oven, melt the butter, add onion, salt and saute over low heat until tender about 8 minutes. Add cauliflower and continue cooking 6 additional minutes stirring continually.

Step 2Add broth, paprika, cayenne pepper, and cream to pan and bring to boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for 2 hours.

Step 3Remove from heat, puree soup in a blender in batches. Return to pan over low heat.

Step 4Whisk in cheese and continue stirring just until melted.
