We love crabs here in Southern Maryland! One of our favorite ways to serve crab is in Cream of Crab Soup. Whenever we have crabs, we try to have some leftovers so we can make this savory soup.

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup onion, finely diced
- 1/4 cup celery, finely diced
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- pinch each salt, pepper, garlic powder, old bay crab seasoning
- 1 teaspoon chicken boullion granules
- 1 cup crab meat
- - parsley, fresh
- - old bay crab seasoning
How To Make cream of crab soup

Step 1Saute onions and celery in butter until soft

Step 2Mix corn starch into milk and add milk mixture and cream to vegetables

Step 3Stir in seasonings and boullion

Step 4Bring to a low simmer, simmer, stirring occasionally for 5 minutes

Step 5Add crab meat and heat only until hot

Step 6Serve immediately in warm bowls and top with parsley and more Old Bay Crab Seasoning.
