Three Bean Turkey Chili

This is a great crock pot chili made with turkey. Made with tomato's, and tomato sauce ,chilies and lots of great beans.
Make it in the morning and when you come home from work or play this chili will be ready and the house will be smelling so good. -So grab the oyster crackers and Serve up the chili with a dollop of sour cream on top. Delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    ground turkey
  • 1 small
    onion, chopped
  • 28 oz
    can stewed tomatoes, undrained,chopped
  • 15 oz
    can chick-peas,rinsed and drained
  • 15 oz
    black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 15 oz
    can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 8 oz
    can tomato sauce, reduced sodium
  • 4 oz
    chopped mild green chilies
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp
    chili powder

How to Make Three Bean Turkey Chili

Step-by-Step

  1. Cook turkey and onion in medium skillet over medium-high heat, stirring to break up meat until turkey is no longer pink. Drain; place turkey mixture into slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Cover; cook on HIGH 6 to 8 hours.
  2. Note:
    Add more seasoning to suit your taste if desired.
