virgil's spaghetti soup

From HELEN'S PANTRY. Dad made this a lot It was fast easy and it was quite good. When I make this soup I sometimes add a few drops of hot sauce just for a little tang. MARCH RECIPE.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound ground sausage
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 clove `garlic menced
  • 2- 14 ounces cans peeled and diced tomatoes with juice
  • 1/2 pound uncooked spaghetti
  • 8 cups water

How To Make virgil's spaghetti soup

  • Step 1
    In a large pot over medium heat add the ground beef and the ground sausage saute for 5 to 10 minutes or until browned. Add the onion and garlic and saute for 2 minutes more.
  • Step 2
    Then add the tomatoes, and water. Bring to a boil and add the spaghetti. Reduce heat to medium for 15 minutes or until the spaghetti is tender
