These are big ole crispy and chewy cookies. fun to make, fun to eat. And curb hunger at noontime providing energy until dinner time. These are made from Stormy Stewarts recipe from her fantastic Gift In A Jar Recipes. Country Oatmeal Cookies Mix in a Jar

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 1-1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1 - stick unsalted butter
- 1 cup old fashioned oatmeal (dry)
- 1-1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- - optional: 1/2 c. raisins, or walnuts.
How To Make old fashioned oatmeal cookies

Step 1Thoroughly cream butter, flavoring & sugar.

Step 2mix w/ dry ingredients. Stir in 2 eggs. The drop by Tbsp. 2 inches apart onto baking sheet.

Step 3Add nuts, chocolate chips or raisins.

Step 4bake at 300 degrees. When golden but not brown, Lift from pan w/ spatula onto a plate. Try not to break.

Step 5Makes approximately 2 dozen cookies.
