This popcorn has only 8.5 carbs per serving. A friend of mine‘s daughter has diabetes. She was looking for a popcorn recipe that was diabetic friendly. I stumbled upon this recipe. This is a really great recipe.

- 13 cups fresh air popped popcorn
- 1 - egg white
- 2 tablespoons dark molasses
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup splenda (sugar substitute)
- 1/2 cup dry roasted peanuts
How To Make low sugar candied popcorn

Step 1spray baking sheet with cooking spray

Step 2pop the popcorn

Step 3in a large bowl place popcorn.in a small bowl-add egg white molasses,and vanilla,salt,and granular splenda. Whisk ingredients well.

Step 4add peanuts and stir well.pour over popcorn,and toss until coated.

Step 5put in baking sheet,and bake at 325 for 20-25 minutes.turn it a bit while baking.

Step 6pour on to waxed paper or parchment paper and let cool.cool to room temp. before serving.
