With diabetes high on the rise. I thought I would try something new. My BFF's Grandchild has diabetes,and I thought I would try this before giving her the recipe.Well the verdict is that I couldn't really tell the difference between this and other candied popcorn. It is really tasty. If you are diabetic,or just want to cut calories. This ia a keeper.

vanilla extract

splenda (sugar substitute)

How to Make sugar free candied popcorn


  • 1spray baking sheet with cooking spray
  • 2pop the popcorn
  • 3in a large bowl place a small bowl-add egg white molasses,and vanilla,salt,and granular splenda. Whisk ingredients well.
  • 4add peanuts and stir well.pour over popcorn,and toss until coated.
  • 5put in baking sheet,and bake at 325 for 20-25 minutes.turn it a bit while baking.
  • 6pour on to waxed paper or parchment paper and let to room temp. before serving.
