When my doctor told me to cut down on salt I was afraid I would never eat popcorn again. But I soon came up with this very tasty solution. I love it! My special seasoning packet goes to the movies with me!

Ingredients

  • 3 c
    popcorn, popped
  • ·
    unsalted butter to taste
  • 1 Tbsp
    mrs. dash garlic and herb flavored seasoning, or any other flavor you like
  • 2 tsp
    low sodium parmesan cheese

How to Make ELLEN'S YUMMY NO-SALT POPCORN

Step-by-Step

  1. If possible use a hot-air popcorn popper to avoid using oil.
    Place popped corn in a large bowl.
  2. In a resealable plastic bag, combine Mrs. Dash and the Parmesan cheese. Close the bag and shake vigorously until the two ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  3. Drizzle butter over popcorn if so desired; then sprinkle seasoning mixture over popcorn, shaking the bowl occasionally to evenly distribute seasoning.
  4. Enjoy this new taste treat. You won't even miss the salt!
