Ingredients
- 1/2 cup oatmeal, uncooked
- 1/2 cup oat bran uncooked
- 1/4 cup ground flaxseed
- 1 cup peanut butter, creamy
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup almonds, chopped
- dash almond or vanilla extract
- 1 scoop chocolate whey protein powder
How To Make peanut butter oat protein snack

Step 1Combine oatmeal, flaxseed, protein powder and oat bran in a mixing bowl.

Step 2In a separate bowl combine peanut butter and honey, in a microwave safe bowl, melt for 30 seconds then stir to mix together. Add to bowl with dry ingredients. Mix, it will be crumbly.

Step 3Add almonds, almond extract, and chocolate chips, mix together forming a large ball in the bowl, place in refrigerator and chill for 30 minutes.

Step 4After 30 minutes, remove from refrigerator and roll into individual balls, freeze and enjoy. Or Press onto cookie sheet and freeze or chill then cut into squares and enjoy.
