I modified another recipe from this site, this is the first time I am trying these.

1/2 c
oatmeal, uncooked
1/2 c
oat bran uncooked
1/4 c
ground flaxseed
1 c
peanut butter, creamy
1/3 c
1/2 c
semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c
almonds, chopped
almond or vanilla extract
1 scoop(s)
chocolate whey protein powder

How to Make Peanut Butter Oat protein snack


  • 1Combine oatmeal, flaxseed, protein powder and oat bran in a mixing bowl.
  • 2In a separate bowl combine peanut butter and honey, in a microwave safe bowl, melt for 30 seconds then stir to mix together. Add to bowl with dry ingredients. Mix, it will be crumbly.
  • 3Add almonds, almond extract, and chocolate chips, mix together forming a large ball in the bowl, place in refrigerator and chill for 30 minutes.
  • 4After 30 minutes, remove from refrigerator and roll into individual balls, freeze and enjoy.


    Press onto cookie sheet and freeze or chill then cut into squares and enjoy.
