1/2 coatmeal, uncooked
1/2 coat bran uncooked
1/4 cground flaxseed
1 cpeanut butter, creamy
1/2 csemi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 calmonds, chopped
dash(es)almond or vanilla extract
1 scoop(s)chocolate whey protein powder
How to Make Peanut Butter Oat protein snack
- Combine oatmeal, flaxseed, protein powder and oat bran in a mixing bowl.
- In a separate bowl combine peanut butter and honey, in a microwave safe bowl, melt for 30 seconds then stir to mix together. Add to bowl with dry ingredients. Mix, it will be crumbly.
- Add almonds, almond extract, and chocolate chips, mix together forming a large ball in the bowl, place in refrigerator and chill for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, remove from refrigerator and roll into individual balls, freeze and enjoy.
Press onto cookie sheet and freeze or chill then cut into squares and enjoy.
