Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw, shelled pumpkin seeds (pepitas)
  • 1 teaspoon melted coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

How To Make masala pepitas

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350°F; line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Step 2
    In a medium bowl, whisk together melted coconut oil and honey. Add pumpkin seeds, spices, and salt and mix to thoroughly coat.
  • Step 3
    Spread pumpkin seed mixture evenly on prepared baking sheet and toast, stirring once or twice, until evenly toasted. Let cool before serving.
