Nancy J. Patrykus
are fresh in our market this week.
While they are on sale...
I purchased two -2 pound bags.
One for eating now
and 3 pounds to freeze, for later.
Yes... you can freeze Cherries for snackes with the pit in and with the stem attatched.
These are best eaten within a couple weeks.
They are so good ...a summer time frozen snack delight!
How to Make FRESH FROZEN CHERRIES... ......"cool snacks"
- Rince your cherries in cool water.
Dry on paper towels.
When perfectly dry, arrange on a cookie sheet, that will fit in your freezer.
Freeze.When frozrn hard.
Remove from freezer, and put into plastic freezer bags...Seal tightly...less air the better.
THere you are...when you want a taste....open bag, pour some out.
Sit back and enjoy a refreshing treat.
