annie's peanut butter balls

I don't know who "Annie" is, nor do I remember where I found this recipe. However, it was too delicious to turn down as a great kids' snack or a party food. Simple and quick!

Ingredients For annie's peanut butter balls

  • 1/2 c
    dates
  • 1 c
    smooth peanut butter
  • 2 Tbsp
    honey
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 c
    instant powdered milk
  • 1 c
    peanuts, chopped
  • 1 c
    coconut, shredded

How To Make annie's peanut butter balls

  • 1
    Chop dates in a food processor by pulsing off and on. DON'T over-process!

    Transfer dates to a mixing bowl and mix with rest of ingredients EXCEPT COCONUT.

    Stir until mixture is gooey in consistency, then pull off small pieces to shape into 1" balls.

    Roll each ball inn the shredded coconut until thoroughly coated. Store in refrigerator.
