Stir-Stir-Stir Candied Pecans

Pat Duran

This recipe is shared by Kim Fernando and "oh she glows".
Kim says,"Don't let the agave and water mixture boil up or turn dark brown like molasses- as this will burn the nuts--Keep it over Low heat and Stir-Stir-Stir,for 20 minutes or longer"
You won't be disappointed with this recipe.
Great for gift giving and be sure to stash away a few for yourself before they disappear!

How to Make Stir-Stir-Stir Candied Pecans

  1. Combine all ingredients, except the sea salt in a large pan or skillet and stir constantly over Low-heat until pecans absorb most of the goo.(about 20 minutes or so).
Please take note of the advice Kim gives above in the personal note.
  2. Remove from heat and sprinkle in the sea salt.
Let mixture cool slightly. About 3 minutes. Then spread out onto no stick foil lined cookie sheet that you also spray. Spread the pecans out individually -they should not touch each other; unless you want little bundles.
