Leesanne's special healthy yummy granola

Ingredients

  • 2 cups oatmeal, uncooked
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup dates, pitted and chopped
  • 1 cup nuts (walnuts or almonds or both)
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup coconut, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup honey and/or molasses
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup pumpkins seeds
  • 1 teaspoon brewers yeast (optional)
  • 3/4 cup wheat germ (optional)

How To Make leesanne's granny-ola

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  • Step 2
    Mix oatmeal, wheat germ and yeast
  • Step 3
    Pour in mix of oil, honey and vanilla, mix well
  • Step 4
    Add the rest of the ingredients
  • Step 5
    Bake on a cookie sheet for 20 minutes - stir after first 10 minutes - sometimes more.
