oatmeal, uncooked

1/2 c
dates, pitted and chopped
1 c
nuts (walnuts or almonds or both)
1/3 c
1/2 c
coconut, shredded
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1/2 c
honey and/or molasses
1/2 c
sunflower seeds
1/2 c
sesame seeds
1/2 c
pumpkins seeds
1 tsp
brewers yeast (optional)
3/4 c
wheat germ (optional)

How to Make Leesanne's Granny-ola


  • 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  • 2Mix oatmeal, wheat germ and yeast
  • 3Pour in mix of oil, honey and vanilla, mix well
  • 4Add the rest of the ingredients
  • 5Bake on a cookie sheet for 20 minutes - stir after first 10 minutes - sometimes more.
