    oatmeal, uncooked
  • 1 c
    raisins
  • 1/2 c
    dates, pitted and chopped
  • 1 c
    nuts (walnuts or almonds or both)
  • 1/3 c
    oil
  • 1/2 c
    coconut, shredded
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c
    honey and/or molasses
  • 1/2 c
    sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 c
    sesame seeds
  • 1/2 c
    pumpkins seeds
  • 1 tsp
    brewers yeast (optional)
  • 3/4 c
    wheat germ (optional)

How to Make Leesanne's Granny-ola

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2. Mix oatmeal, wheat germ and yeast
  3. Pour in mix of oil, honey and vanilla, mix well
  4. Add the rest of the ingredients
  5. Bake on a cookie sheet for 20 minutes - stir after first 10 minutes - sometimes more.
