This a puffy kind of giant-size bread dipper for Guacamole Dip. Fun to make and fun to eat with other dips too! Great with breakfast too with jelly or jam.

Ingredients
- 2 cups bisquick baking mix
- 1/2 cup cold water
- - cornmeal
- - oil for deep frying
How To Make texas dippers

Step 1Heat oil or fat to 400^ (2 to 3 -inches deep)in a deep fryer or kettle. Stir baking mix and water to a soft dough. Gently smooth dough into a ball on floured bisquick covered board. Knead 5 times.

Step 2Divide dough into 16 equal parts. Shape each part into a ball on board sprinkled with cornmeal. Roll each ball into a 5-inch circle. Drop circles , 2 at a time into hot fat. Fry about 15 seconds on each side or until puffed and golden brown. Drain on paper towel and serve warm or cold with Guacamole Dip.
