I love gyros, but wanted to make it healthier and came up w/ this. These have a very good Greek-food flavor to them.

Ingredients
- 1 - 6 oz container plain, low-fat greek yogurt
- 1/2 - cucumber, peeled, diced
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic, from a jar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped, fresh dill
- - salt & pepper to taste
- 4 - whole wheat pita pockets
- 1/2 - head iceberg lettuce, chopped
- 1/2 - red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 large plum tomatoes, sliced
- 1 - 8 oz pkg low-fat, if you can get it, garlic and herb flavored feta cheese, crumbled
How To Make vegetarian gyros

Step 1In bowl, stir together, yogurt, cucumber, garlic, lemon juice, dill, salt and pepper. Cover and chill 30 mins.

Step 2Wrap pitas in damp paper towels. Microwave 20 seconds. Place pitas, puffed-side down onto plates.

Step 3Down the middle of each pita, layer lettuce, onion, tomatoe and feta cheese. Fold up sides like a taco. Spoon yogurt sauce into each "taco." Enjoy!!
