simple cabbage side dish
I had some leftover cabbage one night that I didn't quite know what to do with. I love cabbage in soups and stews and stuffed, but I'd never done much else with it otherwise. Anyway, I don't really remember if I had any method to my madness that day. I just remember that it came out well enough that I made a meal of it. Tonight I threw in a bratwurst to steam with the cabbage...YUM! Simple, quick and tasty...

Ingredients
- 1/4 - cabbage head, chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3-4 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
How To Make simple cabbage side dish

Step 1Steam cabbage until tender. About 30 minuters. Turn cabbage out into serving bowl.

Step 2Add butter. Mix to coat evenly.

Step 3Add sesame oil. Mix to coat evenly.

Step 4Sprinkle parmesan while folding to coat evenly. Use more or less to taste.
