Ingredients
- 1 bunch lacinato kale
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil, ghee, or olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes -
- 1/2 medium red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 medium red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon dried cranberries
- 1 tablespoon sliced almonds
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 2 teaspoons organic sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt or to taste
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper or to taste
How To Make kale - savory lacinato

Step 1Pull kale leaves from stems. Discard stems. Rough chop leaves. In a dutch oven( or steamer), cook kale in very little water until just wilted. Drain.

Step 2Preheat a large saute pan over medium heat. Add coconut oil, ghee, or olive oil to pan. Add in red pepper flakes, onion and red bell peppers and saute unti vegetables are crisp tender. Add in remaining ingredients and cook for about a minute, stirring constantly. Add in kale and continue cooking and stirring for about fiive minutes.
