Ingredients For pineapple beets

  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    pineapple tidbits, unfrained
  • 16 oz
    can sliced beets, drained
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice

How To Make pineapple beets

    In a saucepan, mix broen sugar, cornstarch and salt. Add pineapple; bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until thick, about 2 minutes. Add beets, butter and lemon juice, cook over medium heat for 5 minutes. Stirring occasionally. Makes 4 servings.
