Ingredients
- 1/4 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped carrots
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 1-2 tablespoon chopped fresh mint leaves
- 2 cups green peas, fresh or frozen
- - just a pinch of salt, to taste
How To Make peas with mint

Step 1Sauté celery and carrots in the butter and olive oil until celery softens. Add the water and mint leaves and simmer about 10 minutes until carrots are cooked.

Step 2Add peas, cover, and steam over low heat until peas are done to your liking. Add salt to taste. Stir well before serving.
