Ingredients
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup grated green tomato
- 1/2 cup golden raisins
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
How To Make green tomato bread

Step 1Beat eggs, then gradually beat in sugar, then oil. Combine dry ingredients; add to first mixture alternately with the green tomato's. Stir in nuts, raisins and vanilla. Spray a 8 or 9-inch loaf pan with non-stick spray and pour mixture into pan. Bake on lowest rack at 350^ for 55 minutes or until test with toothpick is done. Let stand about 10 minutes, remove and cool on wire rack. This moist bread keeps well and freezes great.
