When it's prepared well, there's nothing that beats cauliflower. The wonderful seasoning in this ginger-cumin cauliflower recipe packs a ton of flavor and causes you to forget that you're eating healthy. Love it!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 - 2 cups fat-free low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 - 1 teaspoons ground turmeric
  • 5 cups chopped cauliflower
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • - cilantro, for garnish

How To Make healthy ginger-cumin cauliflower

Test Kitchen Tips
If you like a softer, crisp cauliflower, simmer for 10 - 13 minutes. When simmering for 7 minutes, the cauliflower will be on the harder side. We suggest also adding a little salt, about 1 tsp.
  • Heat broth in a skillet.
    Step 1
    Heat broth in a large skillet.
  • Add turmeric, garlic, ginger, and cumin.
    Step 2
    Add garlic, ginger, cumin, and turmeric; saute for 1 min.
  • Add cauliflower and water.
    Step 3
    Add cauliflower and water.
  • Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer until cooked.
    Step 4
    Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, cover, and simmer until the cauliflower is just tender-crisp, about 7 minutes.
  • Add to a bowl and sprinkle with cilantro.
    Step 5
