  • 1 medium head of cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • - salt and pepper to taste

How To Make grandma's coleslaw

  • Step 1
    Toss the sliced/shredded cabbage with the vinegar and oil, tossing to coat evenly.
  • Step 2
    Add salt and pepper and toss again to evenly distribute.
  • Step 3
    Refrigerate until ready to serve.
