Ingredients
- 4 ounces white pearl onions
- 8 ounces frozen green peas
- 3 cups cooked rice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1/4 teaspoon seasoned pepper
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
How To Make golden rice

Step 1Heat oil in a frying pan. Add turmeric and ginger and cook for a few seconds or until you can smell the toasted turmeric.

Step 2Add onions and stir to coat. Cook for about three minutes.

Step 3Add the peas, salt, pepper and lemon juice. Stir to coat. Cover and cook for about eight minutes or until tender. Stir occasionally.

Step 4Add rice and stir to mix thoroughly. Heat through.
