Ingredients

4 lb
summer squash
1 c
dry bread crumbs
1
egg beaten
salt and pepper to taste.

How to Make Fried Summer Squash

Step-by-Step

  • 1Wash and cut squash into 1/2" slices. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, cover with bread crumbs.
  • 2Dip into the egg and again into bread crumbs. Fry in hot shortening until browned on both sides, drain on paper towles and enjoy.
