- summer squash
- 1 c
- dry bread crumbs
- egg beaten
- salt and pepper to taste.
How to Make Fried Summer Squash
- 1Wash and cut squash into 1/2" slices. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, cover with bread crumbs.
- 2Dip into the egg and again into bread crumbs. Fry in hot shortening until browned on both sides, drain on paper towles and enjoy.
