Ingredients

  • 4 pounds summer squash
  • 1 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1 - egg beaten
  • - salt and pepper to taste.

How To Make fried summer squash

  • Step 1
    Wash and cut squash into 1/2" slices. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, cover with bread crumbs.
  • Step 2
    Dip into the egg and again into bread crumbs. Fry in hot shortening until browned on both sides, drain on paper towles and enjoy.
