Once you try this tomato pie I think you will like it. I had it when I was a kid . It was my grand mothers recipe.

Ingredients
- 1 - 9 inch pie shell baked and cooled
- 4 large tomatoes peeled and sliced
- 1 small onion
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil
- 1 teaspoon fresh chives
- 1 cup mayo
- 1 cup grated chedder cheese
How To Make fresh tomato pie

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Step 2Sprinkle tomatoes with salt and drain on a paper towel.

Step 3Place layer of tomato,onion, salt, pepper, basil and chives in pie shell.

Step 4Blend mayo and cheese together and spread over top of pie.

Step 5Bake at 300 degrees until bubbly. Makes one pie
