Debs EASY Cole Slaw
6-8 cfinley shred cabbage ( 1 head of cabbage)
1small onion finely grated
1 chellman's mayonnaise
4 Tbspwhite sugar
4 Tbspapple cider vinegar
·salt and pepper to taste
·celery seed, to taste
How to Make Debs EASY Cole Slaw
- Place your shredded cabbage in a colander. Sprinkle with the 2 t salt and let sit for 1/2 hour. Then with your hands, squeeze out as much water as you can from the cabbage.
- Mix in the onion and carrot.
- To make the dressing:
Mix all dressing ingredients until smooth.
Add to the above mixture and mix well.
You can add any other favorite ingredients you like.
- Cover and refrigerate at least a few hours. Over night is even better.
