1head of cauliflower (about 3 lbs)
1/4 colive oil
2 cloveminced garlic
1 tspdried parsley
1/4 tsponion powder
1/4 tspcrushed red pepper
1/4 tspfresh ground black pepper
How to Make Cauliflower Steaks
- In small bowl whisk together the olive oil, garlic, parsley, paprika, onion powder, crushed red pepper, salt and black pepper.
- Remove the leaves and trim the stem end of the cauliflower. Leave the core intact. Place the cauliflower stem side down on a sturdy cutting board. Cut 1/2 inch wide sections.
- Brush both sides of the steak with the olive oil mixture and place on a well seasoned baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes flipping the steaks halfway through the baking process.
These steaks are easy to cook on the grill. About 5 minutes per side over medium heat (about 350 degrees). If grilling the steaks cut them 3/4 inch thick.
