Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded red cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrot
  • 1/2 cup chopped yellow pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped sweet red pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 3 1/2 teaspoons minced fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup low calorie italian dressing
  • - sugar substitute to equal 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper

How To Make california cole slaw

  • Step 1
    Combine cabbages, yellow and red peppers, onion, and parsley in a large bowl, stirring well, set aside. Combine vinegar, italian dressing, sugar substitute,, salt and pepper in a jar; cover tightly, and shake roughly.
  • Step 2
    pour dressing mixture over vegetable, tossing to coat well.
  • Step 3
    cover and refrigerate till chilled, stir coleslaw lightly and serve. ummmmmm
