Easy/Peasy to assemble, this coleslaw is more sweet than savory. I love it on a burger, chicken-fried steak, or as a side for a nice fried piece of fish. Not much more to say. So, you ready… Let’s get into the kitchen.

Ingredients

  • PLAN/PURCHASE
  • 1/2 small napa cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium carrot, grated
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise, plain variety
  • 1 tablespoon brown mustard, i prefer grey poupon
  • 1 tablespoon sweet clover honey, or more to taste
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest, freshly grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon poppy seeds
  • 1 - 2 pinches black pepper, freshly ground

    Add all of the ingredients together in a bowl, then cover with a piece of cling wrap.
