Ingredients For brussels sprouts in mustard sauce gluten free

  • 2 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 1/4 c
    water
  • 14 oz
    chicken broth homemade or canned if canned low salt
  • 1 lb
    brussels sprouts
  • 2 tsp
    prepared dijon style mustard
  • 2 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 pinch
    red pepper flakes

How To Make brussels sprouts in mustard sauce gluten free

    Dissolve cornstarch in 1/4 cup water set aside.

    In a medium saucepan over medium heat, bring chicken broth to a boil.

    Add Brussels sprouts and cook until tender, strain reserving chicken broth and place Brussels sprouts in a warm serving dish.

    Return chicken broth to stove top stir in mustard sauce and lemon juice and return to a boil. Add cornstarch mixture cook ans stir until thickens. Pour over Brussel sprouts and serve
