broccoli-carrot duo
I first found this recipe in a Land O' Lakes Butter recipe booklet I'd sent for. It has an interesting flavor thanks to the dill and dry mustard. My kids used to love it!

Ingredients
- 1 bag baby carrots
- 2-3 - broccoli crowns
- 1 tablespoon dry mustard
- 1-2 tablespoon dill
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 1-2 stick (land o' lakes) butter
How To Make broccoli-carrot duo

Step 1In the skillet the carrots and broccoli will be heated in add bag of carrots and water to boil As carrots are boiling cut up broccoli crowns to tiny stalks

Step 2When carrots are tender add broccoli and parboil when broccoli is tender drain water - lower heat to medium

Step 3Add seasonings, dill, dry mustard and minced onion to vegetables - place sticks of butter on top cover and simmer tossing frequently until onions are tender if you prefer fresh onion - chop fine and add with seasonings
