    cabbage head
  • 1/2 small
    onion, chopped
  • 1/2 small
    green pepper, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1/4 c
    stock, chicken or vegetable
  • 2 Tbsp
    bacon bits
  • ·
    salt and pepper

How to Make Braised Cabbage w/Bacon Bits


  1. In a skillet, add the olive oil, onions & peppers, saute about 5 minutes.
  2. cut the cabbage in bite size pieces, add in.
  3. pour the stock in and salt & pepper to taste, cover and simmer on low about 20 mins, add in the bacon bits and simmer another 10 mins.
