How to Make Bette's Freezer Corn

Step-by-Step

  1. Cut corn off cob, set aside. I do this with an electric knife, standing the ear up in the center of an angel food cake pan.
  2. Pour water into large pan
  3. Add sugar and salt
  4. Bring water to a boil.
  5. Add corn, bring to a boil and boil 2-3 minutes
  6. Cool on a large rimmed cookie sheet, or half baking sheet. I set mine up in the freezer for 20-30 minutes, then bag it up and let it freeze fairly solid before sealing with my seal a meal.
