Ingredients For asparagus green bean casserole

  • 4-5 slice
    bacon cooked and drained
  • 1
    15 oz can white asparagus
  • 1
    16 oz can whole green beans
  • 2
    hard boiled eggs cooked and chopped
  • 1
    can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 1/4 c
    seasoned bread crmbs
  • 1
    small onion halved and sliced thin
  • 1
    small jar sliced pimientos
  • 3/4 c
    shredded chedder cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 c
    water

How To Make asparagus green bean casserole

  • 1
    fry bacon until crisp, drain and crumble. boil 2 eggs and chop into small pieces.

    in the bacon drippings, saute onion until tender.

    drain the asparagus, green beans and the pimientoes.butter a 9x13" glass baking dish, lightly buttered.

    layer the asparagus , then the greenbeans . now put the onions and sliced pimientoes over the green beans.

    sprinkle with crumbled bacon and chopped eggs.

    mix the mushroom soup, water , cheese ,garlic salt and pepper. pour evenly over the top of casserole and spinkle with seasoned bread crumbs.

    bake in 325 oven for 30 minutes.
