this is a wonderful dish that goes with any meal.

Ingredients

  • 4-5 slices bacon cooked and drained
  • 1 - 15 oz can white asparagus
  • 1 - 16 oz can whole green beans
  • 2 - hard boiled eggs cooked and chopped
  • 1 - can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 cup seasoned bread crmbs
  • 1 - small onion halved and sliced thin
  • 1 - small jar sliced pimientos
  • 3/4 cup shredded chedder cheese
  • - salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup water

How To Make asparagus green bean casserole

  • Step 1
    fry bacon until crisp, drain and crumble. boil 2 eggs and chop into small pieces.
  • Step 2
    in the bacon drippings, saute onion until tender.
  • Step 3
    drain the asparagus, green beans and the pimientoes.butter a 9x13" glass baking dish, lightly buttered.
  • Step 4
    layer the asparagus , then the greenbeans . now put the onions and sliced pimientoes over the green beans.
  • Step 5
    sprinkle with crumbled bacon and chopped eggs.
  • Step 6
    mix the mushroom soup, water , cheese ,garlic salt and pepper. pour evenly over the top of casserole and spinkle with seasoned bread crumbs.
  • Step 7
    bake in 325 oven for 30 minutes.
