Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons butter, unsalted
  • 1 tablespoon minced shallots
  • 1/2 cup parmigiano-reggiano, grated
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped basil leaves
  • - dash of hot sauce or two
  • 2 cups cooked peas

How To Make super creamy peas

  • Step 1
    Bring the cream to a boil in a saucepan. then lower it to a simmer and let it reduce slightly 3 or 4 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Melt the butter in a small skillet, and cook the shallots over med-low heat until translucent, 3 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Add the cooked shallots and the cheese to the cream, and cook until lightly thickened, 3 minutes. Add the basil, hot sauce, and peas, heat through and serve immediately.
