Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 1/2 tablespoons butter, unsalted
- 1 tablespoon minced shallots
- 1/2 cup parmigiano-reggiano, grated
- 1/2 cup finely chopped basil leaves
- - dash of hot sauce or two
- 2 cups cooked peas
How To Make super creamy peas

Step 1Bring the cream to a boil in a saucepan. then lower it to a simmer and let it reduce slightly 3 or 4 minutes.

Step 2Melt the butter in a small skillet, and cook the shallots over med-low heat until translucent, 3 minutes.

Step 3Add the cooked shallots and the cheese to the cream, and cook until lightly thickened, 3 minutes. Add the basil, hot sauce, and peas, heat through and serve immediately.
