- 1 large acorn squash, cut in 1/2 lengthwise, seeded
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt, optional
How To Make roasted acorn squash w/ applesauce

Step 1Heat oven to 400. Place squash, cut side up on a ribbed baking sheet. In bowl, mix remaining ingredients.

Step 2Spoon mix evenly into squash halves. Bake about 1 hr- 1-1/2 hrs or until tender. Cut into 3rds, and serve.
